Reminders for Tuesday 17th April!
Two things happening in the village tomorrow, Tuesday 17th April.
Firstly, there is a meeting at 2pm for anyone interested in helping out at the Plant Sale. Join us at 6 Burnside Court, or drop us a line if you can’t make it.
Secondly, Pilates with Sue Kelly starts again – with classes at 6.30pm and 7.30pm in the Village Hall.
Village SOS Funding – Call for Interested Participants
Village SOS are now accepting grant applications providing between £10,000 and £50,000 to village projects. One application is allowed per community or organisation and grants must be spent within one year.
If anyone has any great ideas for an enterprising and original community project or is interested in helping to put together an application for a grant, then get in touch here.

The annual Village Hall plant sale is fast approaching, Sunday 29th April. If you would like to help, there is a preliminary meeting for volunteers at 2pm on Tuesday 16th April at 6 Burnside Court. If you can’t make it, but could still give us a hand, please drop us a line here. Thank-you!

Crystal Rig II Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund 2012/13
Crystal Rig II Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund is open to applications for funding for 2012/13.
The purpose of the fund is to enable communities to carry out improvements to their local area. Consideration will be given to all types of project which will benefit the local community. For more information please download the Application Form here.
Meeting about Diamond Jubilee: 7pm on 19/4/12
The next meeting about Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Garvald and Morham will happen in Garvald Village Hall at 7pm on Thursday 19th April. Thanks to GMCC, we have a budget to spend on the festivities. So all we need now are bright ideas and willing volunteers. As such, it would be great to see representatives from both villages there, and the outlying farms and cottages. If you cant make it, but want to be involved, drop us a line here.
