If you haven’t got one, and think the children might just like one, then here’s your chance! The McGregor family are looking to move their 7ft one on – and are prepared to gift it to anyone willing to take it away. Needless to say, first come first served. Give Caroline a ring on 830349.

  • Wine Tasting: Saturday 8th June from 7.30pm …

Tickets are now available for the village wine tasting event, the first in a long time, on Saturday 8th June at 7.30pm in (and around) the Hall (if the weather is up to scratch!)

The price is £6, and entitles the bearer to a selection of wine and nibbles. There will also be a specialist, Ian MacPhail, on hand to give guidance. And he will be selling all his wines by the bottle or case.

If this interests you, then please see Caroline McGregor or any other GVHC member. Alternatively, do drop us a line here.

  • Upcoming events…

The next village event will be the Plant Sale on Sunday 19th May, so please start thinking about what you can donate when you are planting seeds and sub-dividing plants in the next couple of weeks. Thank you!

In the meantime, if you are keen to meet up with local friends or meet some new ones, how about a visit to the pub! There will be a Cocktail Night at the Garvald Inn this Saturday (27th April). For more information on this and future events, you can check out their Facebook page.

Police_Pamphlet_1 is about stopping the theft of Red Diesel; Police_Pamphlet_2 is about stopping thefts from heating fuel tanks; and Police_Pamphlet_3 is about protecting off-road vehicles.

    Hope they are useful.
