Village Show
The Garvald Horticultural Society stages a Village Show at the end of August each year. Exhibitors can show off their best blooms, fruit and vegetables, home-made produce, baking, artwork, handicrafts, photography, children’s categories and there’s a pet show.
The Show is open to all and new competitors are very welcome (there is plenty of help available from committee members to help you prepare exhibits). For hints and tips on growing your garden produce for the show, see the Garvald Growers and Makers Facebook group.
