  • Red Cross Concert: Last call to book your tickets!

    A message from Anne Raitt:

The children in the village are all very brilliant and have worked so hard for the coming concert in Garvald Church (6pm this Saturday). It’s a busy time of year and most things are left to the last minute BUT I wonder if those of you who’d like to come to the performance will make contact soon to book your tickets. We’d like an idea of the numbers; not wishing to run out of wine or nibbles in the Stables afterwards! Please let me know via the Contact Us form or come and see me at Honeysuckle Cottage.

    Thank you!
    Anne

  • Wanted – brute force!

As you know, it is the Christmas Fair on Sunday – a wonderful opportunity to browse for and buy lovely presents, as well as eat yummy home baked cakes! Between now and then though, the Hall has to be transformed – the hefty trestles lugged about, the stacked chairs moved etc. Could anyone lend strong arms? They really would be appreciated. If you can, please head Hall-ward at 10am on Saturday morning. We promise you won’t be detained for too long…

  • Nunraw Christmas Dinner: final reminder …

There seems to be so much going on in the village at the moment. It almost feels unfair to hassle you all some more. But … Could we please have RSVPs for the Nunraw Dinner by the end of this week please? The catering team need a firm idea of numbers before they start peeling spuds and boiling sprouts. (Okay, the sprouts are a joke …) Thanking-you!

  • Red Cross Concert – tickets available!

A reminder that the children of Garvald are organising a concert to raise money for the Red Cross, at Garvald Church on Saturday 30th November at 6.00pm, with drinks and nibbles in The Stables afterwards. Any cash donations are most welcome if you are unable to make it to the concert – please deliver to Anne Raitt at Honeysuckle Cottage.

  • Nunraw Xmas Dinner: a badger …

Still a bit short of replies for the Nunraw Xmas Dinner. Surely the whole village isn’t double booked?! If you want to come, can you let us know please? Pop your forms etc into the letter box on the gate at The Rowans. Many many thanks …
