For over forty years,  Garvald residents and those from outlying settlements have been gathering to enjoy a Christmas meal together. Hitherto, said dinner has been held at Nunraw by the kind permission of the Community of Sancta Maria Abbey. Following the sale of the guest House earlier this year, it has been decided that the village should now return the favour and host the event in the Village Hall. As such, please diary the evening of Thursday 4th December. Formal invitations will follow over the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out.
