Does anyone else want tickets for the 70s Night on Saturday? If you haven’t let Caroline or Katy know already, could you do so as soon as possible? Call, e-mail or knock on either of their doors … It’s just because they’re trying to finalise numbers for catering etc. Heaven forbid there’s not enough cheesy pineapple sticks!
Feel the Funk: Garvald’s own boogie night in the Hall on Saturday 25th October. You’ve seen the posters, you’ve got the flyer … so now it’s time to book the tickets! Call Caroline (349) or Katy (200,) or drop us a line here.
For over forty years, Garvald residents and those from outlying settlements have been gathering to enjoy a Christmas meal together. Hitherto, said dinner has been held at Nunraw by the kind permission of the Community of Sancta Maria Abbey. Following the sale of the guest House earlier this year, it has been decided that the village should now return the favour and host the event in the Village Hall. As such, please diary the evening of Thursday 4th December. Formal invitations will follow over the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out. And if you’d like to get involved with the organising, please drop us a line.
Want to help the Hall as well as yourself? Well why not join the 100 Club?! For an annual subscription of £15, you can enter into monthly prize draws as well as the £100 Christmas bonus … For more info, see the paper fliers which are being distributed. Or click here to download.
