Preserving Garvald’s Heritage – invitation to community meeting
Garvald Village Hall, WEDNESDAY 6th JUNE, 7.30 pm until 9 pm
The traditional Maundy Thursday service will be held in Garvald Church on Thursday 19th March at 7.30 pm, to commemorate the Last Supper.
On Easter Sunday there will be a service in Morham Church at 9.30 am.
The Church is open every day, all day, and everyone is very welcome to enter and enjoy the peace.
Sunday 3rd December is the first Sunday in Advent and we will be lighting the first Advent candle at church. The Christmas Eve carol-service will be at 6 pm in Garvald and the Watchnight service at 11.30 pm in Morham. For more details on Church services in the coming months, please see the Church page.
Sunday 5th November is the Harvest Service in Garvald Church at 9.30 am
Sunday 12th November is the Remembrance Service in Morham Church at 9.30 am.

A reminder that Finlay Hay and friends from the Yehudi Menuhin School will be performing at Garvald Church on Friday, 7pm.
Contributions of bottles of red or white wine for after-concert refreshments would be most welcome! Please drop off to Lorraine or Anne.
Tickets are £5 on the door. All proceeds will go to two charities doing wonderful work to support refugees in East Lothian: ‘East Lothian Aid for Refugees’, and ‘East Lothian Welcomes Refugees’.
Our very own Finlay Hay from Garvald is bringing home 6 friends from the Yehudi Menuhin School and they are all going to play for us at a pop-up concert on 2nd June at the Church. Please put the date in your diary, come along to hear some fabulous music and help us raise some money for refugees.

Next Sunday morning (7th May) the service at Garvald Church will include a guest speaker, Norman Liddle from the Scottish Bible Society. He will be talking about the work of the Society in Lebanon, caring for and working with Syrian refugees.
The Garvald and Morham Church Identity 2016 event is this Saturday 29th October at 7pm in Garvald Church. A reminder that all local women and girls are welcome to come along for music, mime, munchies and more.
