Please come along to a free screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing film at 7.30pm on Friday 30 October in Gifford Village Hall. Doors will open at 7.15pm.
The 50-minute film is hosted by Chris Packham and other familiar faces. It is a calm, evidence-based overview of the effects on our everyday lives of current changes to our climate and natural world.
Footage of leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature is followed by an assessment of the responses that can make a crucial difference. More information about the film can be found at www.nebriefing.org
The film will be followed by refreshments and a short, structured discussion.
Please note, the film is suitable for those aged 16 and over.
Please spread the word about this opportunity to learn from the experts about the future facing us all and how we can make it a better one.
There is no need to book a place but, to help us get an idea of numbers, we would appreciate if you could let us know if you intend to come along by submitting the contact form, below, and indicating ‘YES’ on it. Please also use the contact form if you have any questions about the screening:
