Thank you for the update!
Regrettably the road remains closed and, barring the moving of a digger so no-one can get past (previously vans and cars could squeeze by) and the removal of a pump, no discernible work has been carried out at the site for almost a week.
Perhaps your contact at Scottish Water could be persuaded to provide a realistic time frame for the re-opening of the road – remember the recent huge sink-hole in the Japanese city of Fukuoka which was filled in, the road resurfaced and opened to traffic within a week!!
