Christian Aid wants –
- to expose poverty throughout the world
- to help in practical ways to end it
- to highlight, challenge and change the structures and systems that favour the rich and powerful over the poor and marginalised.

This week, a Christian Aid envelope will drop through your letter-box, but nobody will come annoying you and knocking on your door for collection. Instead, you have the chance to take a leisurely Spring stroll through the village, and drop your donation in the locked strong box in the church vestibule. The Church is open every day. Anything you can spare will be gratefully received by those in need. Thank You.
PS You can also donate on-line if you prefer

Ideally we’ll be outside, hula-hooping in our best fifties fashion! Grateful thanks to the Community Council who are providing funds for this event.
It would be really helpful to get a rough idea of how many people are coming. Please RSVP using the form below

Plea from the Community Council
A number of residents have expressed concern about dog poo being left on the paths and park within Garvald.I am aware that we have a number of dogs in the village and that owners take responsibility for clearing up after their dogs. However, given the reported incidents can I ask that owners remain attentive when out with their dogs please.Phillip
