Care & Repair East Lothian – Free External Security Lights

East Lothian Care & Repair Charitable Trust was successful in receiving some funding from the Tesco Blue Token Scheme to assist people to have security lights fitted. There is limited funding available.

If you are the homeowner, and you are either aged 60 or over (no other requirements) or you are aged between 50 and 60 (and in receipt of a disability benefit), then you may be eligible for a free LED PIR external security light.

You must either have no existing security light or the one that you have is faulty.

Please contact the service on 01620 828445 or enquiries@careandrepaireastlothian.co.uk to discuss further.

As well as the security lights, the Charitable Trust also has carbon monoxide alarms, extension leads and motion sensor night lights – all available free of charge to eligible clients.

Care & Repair East Lothian (which is separate to the Trust) can also provide free confidential advice/assistance to older homeowners who are looking to adapt or repair their home.  Our service is fully funded by East Lothian Council.
