Hello Garvald, 

Once again nature has taken over at the back of the village hall. We’re holding a “Maintenance Day” to clear the weeds on Sunday 4th October at 2pm.It usually takes less than 2 hours depending on how many volunteers turn up.

Strimmers, rakes, secateurs etc. will be the order of the day. Oh and don’t forget your gardening gloves! 

Once we’ve cleared the area we’d like to have a discussion about how to replant this area in a way that allows it to re-wild whilst also being manageable for access and maintenance etc. This was raised as a suggestion at the Coffee/Ideas session held earlier this year.
