Haddington Hockey has recently added a new session to their range of opportunities – Back to Hockey!
This is ideal for ladies of any age who want a fun, social and friendly approach to being active. Maybe you have played before and want to get back into it or maybe you have never picked up a stick before. Maybe you are a young mum or maybe you are a granny. Maybe you have a child at the club or maybe you don’t. It doesn’t matter, you are all welcome!
Your first session is FREE and thereafter £2.50 per session on a pay-as-you-play basis. Sticks are provided, and we have some spare shin-guards too. Wednesday nights, 7pm-8pm, at the Aubigny Sports Centre. Thursday 15th February 7 – 8 pm there will be a Fabulous Workout in Garvald Village Hall led by one-time Garvald resident Rachel Milligan.
It’s usually held in Gifford and is great fun as well as hard work.
Everyone welcome – young, old, fit, not-so-fit, female, not-so-female. £6 for the session.
Calling all U18s! Come and play hockey from 6-7pm on Wednesdays at Aubigny Astro, starting after half term on 24th February. This is a new venture to provide hockey training for senior pupils S3-S6. Lest you’ve forgotten over the hectic festive period, here’s a reminder that there is a Badminton Session every Sunday night in the Hall – 6pm till 7.30. Due to popular demand, the Garvald running group are now going out on a Saturday morning as well as Sundays.
Meet outside the pub at 8 am on either one of those days (or both) for an invigorating 30 minute jog.
Men, women, boys, girls, and dogs all welcome – the more the merrier!
