Helpers for Flower Show Teas

Just a quick reminder with only a few days to go until the Flower Show…

Donations of home baking are most welcome – please bring them to the village hall kitchen on the morning of the show (Saturday 22nd August).

Jo is currently working out the rota for the Teas stall and has a few gaps to fill. Thank you to those of you who have already volunteered to help serve teas and clear tables. If you have not yet been in touch, please contact Jo on 830685 or use the form below. Thank you!

    Getting ready for the Flower Show…

    The village hall will be set up this Thursday afternoon from 2.00pm, ready for Saturday’s Flower Show. If anyone is available to help move chairs and set up trestle tables, please do come and help. Your assistance would be much appreciated!

    Staging of exhibits will be on Friday 21st from 6.00pm and Saturday 22nd from 7.30-10.00am. We look forward to seeing you there!

        Flower Show Thanks

        A big thank you to all the bakers and the marvellous helpers (including the tea pourers and the washer-uppers) who made the teas happen at the Flower Show on Saturday. The sun came out, competitors produced a great display of produce, flowers, baking, preserves and handicrafts and the children showed off their creative talents with their exhibits, too. Thanks to all those who helped set up and run the Show, making it a lovely afternoon for all those who came along. (Photos will be added to the Gallery soon.)
