The Community Council has secured a very small number of small bags of logs for residents of Garvald who are in need of free logs. If you feel that you would benefit from a bag of logs, please fill in the form below and we will put you on the list and let you know if we are in a position to help you.
The next PUBlic Philosophy event will be on the 26th of January 2022 in the Garvald Inn.
Shannon Vallor will introduce some puzzles about Artificial General Intelligence, and Tillmann Vierkant about free will.

The mobile phone mast at Tanderlane, Garvald has now been rigged and is waiting to be metered; forecast dates are for mid-December. Following this the fibre circuit needs to be completed and tested which we are hoping will be done before Christmas – depending on engineer availability.
If all of this goes to plan, we are aiming for the site to be live in early 2023.

I am proposing to run a yoga class on either Monday or Wednesday evening from 6.30 – 7.30pm in Garvald Village Hall.
The class will be a yoga flow class drawing on Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha yoga and more or less demanding with options for all.
I will run a drop-in taster class in early January so you can try it out and will then run a block booking or drop in system with classes charged at £5 if booked ahead.
