The rainy season …

I believe they normally call this the “silly season” in mainstream media, when there are few big news items and the bulletins are padded out with non stories. This year, it seems more like the “rainy season.” Will it EVER stop?!

Here we are in-between big village events. The Jubilee already seems an age ago. And it is still over a month until the Flower Show. If you are looking for something to do on these unending wet days, remember there are lots of craft classes at the latter – especially for the youngsters in the village. Use the time to make a model animal (under 5s,) design a miniature garden (5 to 8s and 9 to12s,) or compose a rap (teens.) All the details can be found in the show schedule Best of luck!!!
