Reporting potholes and other roads issues
If you know of any potholes, road repairs required or street lights that are out – please report it to East Lothian Council. On their website’s roads and transport page there are handy links to “Report a Pothole” and “Report an Issue” where you can inform the Council of problems with potholes, street lighting, traffic lights, fly tipping, missed bin collections, dog fouling and other issues. This takes you into the East Lothian Public Information Portal where you can easily report these issues. These use a new map-based system to pin-point the location of the issue. You can also telephone the Council – 01620 827827. The more reports the Council receives on an issue the quicker they may take action.
