The Scottish Government, in partnership with the Scottish Futures Trust, will be providing 4G mobile infrastructure and services in our area as part of the Scottish 4G Infill Programme (S4GI). More information on the S4GI Programme can be found here: https://www.gov.scot/
In line with the programme’s evaluation requirements, Stantec, on behalf of the Scottish Government, is undertaking surveys in the areas scheduled for mast delivery. These surveys aim to establish levels of broadband and mobile connectivity, and internet use in these locations prior to the delivery of 4G. The exercise will then be repeated once 4G has been provided and the results compared in order to determine the impact of the S4GI investment. There are two surveys available: the first aimed at residents and the second aimed at businesses based in the local area:
Resident – https://forms.office.com/r/w1zGZGzL4u
Business – https://forms.office.com/r/ZB3L7AkW0p
There are also paper versions available, with freepost return envelopes, which will hopefully be available at a local venue, soon. There will also be focus groups happening in Spring 2023 to explore the benefits of S4GI.
If you have any questions, please email 4GEvaluation@stantec.com or contact 0131 297 2234.
