The film showing on Friday 8th March in Gifford Village Hall is “Promising Young Woman” starring Carey Mulligan.
It promises style, wit and sharp social commentary! Doors open at 7.30
The end of an era – Garvald Church is now officially up for sale. Particulars may be found on the Church of Scotland website
Note that neither the Glebe Field nor the Stables are included in the sale
The Post Office network manager has stated that, with immediate effect, there are no plans for a resumption of outreach services to Garvald. There is a temporary notice on the front door of the village hall advising the public of the above decision.
