Toy Donations Wanted for Garvald Community Playgroup
As we move closer to starting the ‘stay and play’ sessions in the village hall, there are just a few things to organise before getting started.
First up, we need toys!
If you have any toys that are in good condition that you no longer use and would be happy to donate, please drop off to Natasha at Cappel Cottage any time from Thursday 18th – Monday 22nd August. I will set up a wee table outside our front door for ease.
Many thanks,
Garvald Community Playgroup.
Garvald Fun Day: Successful Day and New Organisers Wanted!
Thank you to all the organisers of the wonderful Garvald Fun Day on Saturday 13th August; it was a lovely, community day!
Penny Short has been the main organiser for this event for the past few years and now wishes to pass the role onto someone else for next year. There are always plenty of helping hands so someone to co-ordinate it all would be great.
If you are interested in taking this on, please complete the contact form, below, for information.

Combine Harvester Alert!!
Hello,
Just a notice to say a combine harvester will be making its way through Garvald tomorrow (Monday) morning.
Could we please ask for cars not to be parked on the Main Street so the combine itself can get passed.
Thank you
Harry from Nunraw
