Garvald and Morham Community Craft Evenings

A group of local crafters will be getting together on Thursday 9th November at 7pm in Garvald Village Hall. Everybody is welcome to bring any craft to work on, in company. There will also be a discussion on what demonstrations to have through the year and you can find out about regular meet-ups.

Out of Control Dog

Residents of the village witnessed a horrific attack on a deer, yesterday (Tuesday 31st October), by a large, off-lead (possibly brown/grey coloured) dog. In addition to the attack, during which the deer was killed, the dog was loose in a field where there are sheep and it had been seen chasing the sheep, earlier.

As far as they are aware, the dog is still loose and the owner has not been found. Is/Was your dog missing and possibly in the vicinity of Nunraw Barns yesterday (Tuesday) at around 3.50pm?

Please ensure all dogs are kept on a lead around livestock and wildlife.

If anyone has any information which may be useful in reuniting the dog with its owner, please use the contact form, below:
