Hazel and family would like to thank everybody for the many messages of sympathy and kind offers of help following Dougie’s sad passing. The funeral will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium on Tuesday 14th February at 11 am followed by a reception at Haddington Rugby Club.

Coffee Afternoon Success
Thank you to all who came along to the children’s coffee afternoon today. It was a big success, raising £190 for the Village Hall funds. It was lovely to see the children taking control and enjoying serving the locals the tasty cakes and refreshments.
Thanks also to everyone who helped with the prep. and for donating such delicious baking and other offerings.

Garvald Village Hall Coffee Afternoon Fundraiser – Sun 5th Feb, 12-2pm
Some of the Garvald children are organising and hosting a coffee afternoon next Sunday, 5th February between 12pm and 2pm, to raise some funds for our Village Hall. It would be lovely to see you all there! Details on the attached poster.

Garvald’s speed limit is to be reduced to 20mph shortly.
East Lothian Council has given instructions to their sign contractor to carry out this work.
Please help in observing the new speed limit when it comes in.
